It’s time to get your tickets for the 11th Annual Wine & Dine! This year’s event is set for Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. For the last 10 years we have sold out, so mark your calendars and purchase your tickets today!
The event starts at 5 p.m. with a social. The highlight of the evening is a gourmet meal with specially selected wines for each course starting at 7 p.m. Games, raffles, and live and silent auctions entertain you throughout the evening, followed by dancing to live music from Eighth Hour beginning at 10 p.m. You don’t want to miss it!
This year's meal begins with Seafood Newburg, a creamy medley of shrimp and crab with a hint of cayenne, served with pita chips and paired with a Kentia Albariño. A glass of Charles Sparr Alsace Pinot Gris accompanies the salad – a bed of fresh greens topped with sweet, candied bacon and pear slices and finished with a touch of house-made vinaigrette. After cleansing the palate with an orange sorbet with a splash of tart cranberry, the main course arrives. The stuffed tenderloin is brimming with wild rice, topped off with a savory mushroom brandy Benedictine butter cream sauce, served with green beans infused with pepper for just the right amount of spice and sweet potatoes cooked to perfection in a bourbon sauce. The tenderloin is paired with Method Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. For dessert, the brownie bottom chocolate cheesecake drizzled with chocolate sauce meets the needs of every chocoholic in the room. It is served with a Banfi Rosa Regale.
